Recipes & Inspiration
Here at Island Mango, we like to share ideas and suggestions on various ways on how to enjoy your mangoes, most of our recipes and inspiration comes from trial and error, and various taste testing through filipino parties and gatherings.. haha (as a british man with a Filipino wife, i very much enjoy these!)
So, moving on, there are many ways in which you can enjoy our premium Filipino Carabao Mangoes.
We are very grateful to each and every one of you who contribute to helping us build this business to where it is today, the support and kind words or encouragement really do go a long way, and we have a lot to thank you for in allowing us to provide this service to the island or Ireland.
Bringing the taste of the Philippines, right here in Ireland.
Anyway, let's get started. Some of the most irrestible ways to enjoy these Filipino mangoes include creamy desserts, a refreshing smoothie, or a traditional Filipino treat, every bite will feel like a taste of home.
Mango Float (Filipino No Bake Dessert)
Layers of graham crackers, whipped cream, and slices of our juicy mangoes, chilled overnight for the perfect creamy, fruity combo.
Pro tip: (no need for frozen, or poor quality anymore) now you can make a truly delicious dessert using fresh quality ingredients directly from the Philippines. Use extra ripe mangoes for the dreamiest sweetness, roughly 5-7 days after they arrive into Ireland)
Mango Smoothie
Blend Carabao Mango chunks with milk (or coconut milk), a spoon of natural yoghurt and a little ice and honey
Optional: Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream for that extra thick vibe.
Mango Sticky Rice
A Thai/Filipino favourite! Warm glutinous rice topped with coconut milk sauce, and our very own sweet mango slices. Simply delicious.
Tropical Mango Cooler
Mix fresh mango puree, pineapple juice and sparkling water. Serve cold with ice and fresh mint leaves. Perfect for summer BBQs or chill night.
Mango Graham Cake in a Cup
Mini version of the Mango Float, perfect for parties or gifting! Layers of crushed grahams, whipped cream and our golden mango
