About Island Mango

Island Mango is a small, couple-run business based in Drogheda, Ireland. We started because we couldn't find the fruit we grew up with — or the fruit we'd fallen in love with — easily here in Ireland.

Carabao mangoes are one of the Philippines' most iconic fruits, prized for their naturally sweet, fragrant flavour. But unless you knew where to look, finding them fresh in Ireland could be difficult. So we decided to bring them ourselves.

We source premium Philippine produce and air-freight it to Ireland in small, carefully selected batches. Every shipment is quality checked before orders leave us. We only send fruit we'd be happy to receive ourselves.

Alongside Carabao mangoes, we bring in Saba bananas, calamansi, mangosteen, pomelo, singkamas, santol and other seasonal Philippine produce — fruits that are an important part of Filipino cooking and culture, but can be difficult to find fresh in Ireland.

We're not a supermarket. We operate through a pre-order model, allowing us to plan each shipment around customer demand. It helps us keep waste low, maintain quality and bring in the produce our customers actually want.

What started with a simple desire for a taste of home has grown into a community of customers across Ireland and Northern Ireland who share that same love for Philippine fruit.
