REFUND & RETURNS POLICY
Last updated: August 2026
Our Commitment
At Island Mango, we take great care in sourcing, quality-checking, packing and delivering fresh Philippine produce to customers across Ireland. Because our products are fresh and perishable, certain returns and cancellation rights that apply to ordinary goods may not apply to fresh produce.
Fresh & Perishable Produce
Fresh fruit is perishable and is generally not suitable for return once delivered. However, this does not affect your statutory consumer rights where produce is damaged, faulty, not as described or otherwise does not meet the standards required by law.
If your order arrives damaged, spoiled or in an unsatisfactory condition, please contact us as soon as possible after delivery so we can investigate and resolve the issue.
Please provide:
Depending on the circumstances, we may arrange a replacement, refund or other appropriate remedy in accordance with your consumer rights.
Quality Issues
Natural variation in fresh fruit is normal. Differences in size, shape, colour, firmness and ripeness can occur between individual fruits and batches.
These natural characteristics are not considered defects where the produce is otherwise of satisfactory quality and as described.
However, if your produce is damaged, spoiled, seriously defective or otherwise not as described, please contact us promptly so we can assess the issue.
Delivery Issues
Your order remains our responsibility until it is delivered to you.
If your order is delayed, damaged during delivery, or the produce deteriorates because of a delivery problem, please contact us as soon as possible. We will investigate the issue with our courier partner and work with you to resolve it.
Local Collection Orders
For orders collected in person, we recommend checking the produce at the point of collection.
If you notice an obvious quality issue at collection, please raise it with us immediately so we can address it.
This does not remove any statutory consumer rights that may apply where a problem with the goods was not reasonably apparent at the time of collection.
Pre-Orders
Pre-orders are placed in advance of a shipment arriving in Ireland.
If a pre-ordered item becomes unavailable, cannot be supplied, or does not meet our quality standards upon arrival, we will contact you and offer an appropriate solution, which may include a full refund or an alternative product where available.
Imported Produce
Our produce is imported directly from the Philippines.
Because fresh fruit is a natural agricultural product, occasional variation in size, colour, appearance, firmness and ripeness is normal.
We will provide customers with relevant information about expected ripeness and recommended storage where appropriate.
How to Contact Us
For refund, delivery or quality queries, please contact us through our Contact Us page and provide your order number and details of the issue.
We aim to respond within 1-2 business days.
Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude any rights you have under Irish or EU consumer protection law. Where your statutory rights provide a remedy, those rights will apply.
