Getting fresh Philippine produce in Ireland is a little different from ordering from a supermarket — and that's what makes Island Mango special.
We bring our produce into Ireland in carefully planned, limited shipment batches. Here's how it works.
1. Choose your fruit 🥭
Browse the Philippine produce available in our upcoming shipment.
Depending on the season, this can include:
- 🥭 Carabao Mangoes
- 🍌 Saba Bananas
- 🍋 Calamansi
- 💜 Mangosteen
- 🍈 Pomelo
- 🥒 Singkamas
- 🌿 Santol
- …and other seasonal Philippine produce.
Add your favourites to your order and check out online.
2. Pre-order your produce 📦
Our fruit is brought into Ireland in limited shipment batches.
When a pre-order window opens, you'll be able to see what's coming in the next shipment and place your order before it arrives.
This allows us to plan our shipments around customer demand and helps us keep waste low while maintaining quality.
Once a shipment reaches its available quantity, pre-orders close until the next shipment.
3. Harvested & prepared in the Philippines 🌱🇵🇭
Your produce is carefully selected and prepared for its journey from the Philippines.
We work with our suppliers to source the Philippine produce our customers love and arrange its transport to Ireland.
4. Air-freighted to Ireland ✈️🇮🇪
Our produce travels by air freight from the Philippines to Ireland.
Air freight allows us to bring seasonal Philippine produce to Ireland while keeping the journey as short as possible.
When the shipment arrives, it goes through the required import and inspection processes before we can prepare customer orders.
5. Quality checked by Island Mango 🔍🥭
Once the shipment arrives and is cleared, we quality-check the produce before orders are dispatched.
We check the fruit and prepare your order with the same care we'd expect when receiving our own.
We only send fruit we'd be happy to receive ourselves. ❤️
6. Choose delivery or collection 🚚📍
🚚 Delivery
We deliver across Ireland and Northern Ireland.
€15 delivery on orders up to 10kg.
Once your order has been packed and dispatched, you'll receive tracking information.
Delivery times can vary depending on your location and courier service, but we aim to get your produce to you as quickly as possible.
📍 Free Collection — Drogheda
Prefer to collect? Free collection is available in Drogheda by arrangement. You'll be able to arrange collection once your order is ready.
7. Let your fruit ripen at home 🥭
Some of our fruit may arrive firm so that it can continue to ripen naturally at home.
For mangoes, keep them at room temperature while they ripen.
As they become softer and develop that beautiful sweet mango aroma, they're getting closer to being ready to eat.
Firm → Ripening → Soft & fragrant → Enjoy! 🥭
Once ripe, refrigeration can help slow further ripening.
Why do we use pre-orders?
Fresh Philippine produce isn't something we want sitting around in storage for weeks.
Our pre-order model allows us to plan upcoming shipments around what our customers actually want.
It helps us:
